Fiction Search: Jack/Daniel

Hi. I'm looking for a fic, and can only remember bits and pieces.

I remember that they were off world, Jack was taken prisoner (I think). Daniel mounts a rescue but the city is attacked by an opposing country. They are taken on a boat to the othe country, where, I think, Jack is assumed to be a possession. The man who takes them in keeps trying to show Jack that he doesn't have to be a possession/slave. It seems to me the country had a Samurai feel to it...

Fic Search: Sam/Jack

I have no idea when or where I read this fic, but I do know that it isn't recent, it's at least a couple of years old I think.

NB: Significant story spoilers under the cut.

SG1 were on a mission, something happened and Sam died. I think Jack quit the SGC. However, the bit that I do remember is that Jack spent the better part of the following year talking to Carter's ghost. And Carter's ghost talked back. And they have perfectly sensible conversations. I'm pretty sure that Jack realises that talking to a ghost is Not A Good Thing, but if I remember correctly, he believes that the Carter he's talking to is a figment of his imagination and he can hold a conversation with her because he knew her so well. ( It turns out that...  )

ETA: I'm pretty sure there's a car journey as well. Jack's in his car going somewhere (Minnesota, I suspect) and ghost!Sam joins him.

If anyone has any idea what this fic is, I'd be very grateful.

Hello, I am hunting/searching after stories in which Jack O'Neill got snakified as a Tok'ra/Goa'uld or he bonded with another symbioant. The few I know of are under the lj-cut. Any references and recommendations of more fan fiction with that thematic would be great.
