I'm looking for something that may or may not exist. I'm looking for first-time fics for either pairing where there are no mind-whammy, no aliens-made-them-do-it, no drunken confessions or conveniently overheard conversations.

Basically, what I'm looking for, is one of the guys taking his courage in his hands and admitting that he loves the other with no certainty (other than his own hopes) that it'll go over well.

I read a fic that featured mirror Rodney and John and then I think mirror John and Rodney getting together. The one line I remember specifically is that John goes to the mirror universe where the mirror John is a rude, brash scientist, and he hooks up with the mirror Rodney and then mirror John says to him "So you get this too."

But also, any good fics featuring the mirror verse are appreciated! Thanks!

I just finished "Human Nature" by Keira Marcos (highly recommended, BTW) and it has me in the mood for similar.

Does anyone know of any good stories (either SG1 or Atlantis) based around DADT? Could be DADT causing a problem or the fallout from the repeal of DADT. Please, no tragic endings. I like seeing our guys and gals happy, though a little angst along the way is ok.

I'm finally watching the last two seasons of SG1, long after having watched all seasons of Atlantis. I just watched Pegasus project and the episode left me quite annoyed. I adore Rodney, and I felt John was showing off to Mitchell by being a bully to Rodney basically, and while I'm not a huge fan of Mitchell in the first place, this really made me dislike him.

So, I'd like fics where John feels guilty or gets reprimanded by others, or where he realises the Atlanteans are quite offended on Rodney's behalf, or that Rodney's way cooler than Mitchell.
Secondly, I've had enough of Mitchell's stupid attempts to try to copy Jack's behaviour, he just doesn't have the charm to pull it off.
So any fics where he gets taken down a peg or two. Maybe where Daniel has a go at him.

Secondly, while Daniel knowing how to use his P-90 is really sexy, it seems that's all he gets to do in the later seasons. So any fics where Daniel's unique awesomeness shines through, or where Mitchell especially gets a new appreciation for him?
Any ships or slash is fine.

Two things, please.

One is a particular story, it may have been written for a bad!sex ficathon. John fists Rodney and causes some serious damage.

The second thing, I’m looking for any stories where John is a top - not just in the sense that he’s the one penetrating, more like they’re in a BDSM relationship. AU is fine (I’ve read all Xanthe’s fics) but I’d also like more canon ‘verse recs. Conversely, fics focusing on Rodney being the bottom would probably do the same job.

I would also like some stories where something happens to Rodney like,abuse,rape,kidnapped,depression,drugs,alchol,eating disorder,torture,or anything like that. Hi everyone, I am relatively new to this fandom, but for the past 2-3 weeks, I've been reading pretty regularly in SGA and I am having a lot of fun and enjoying the fics muchly. However, I've come upon a problem:

A lot of my specific interests are eluding me here and I am hoping for some recs with the following theme(s).

Explicit NC-17 Bottom Sheppard fic. I've found a lot of Bottom McKay, but the Bottom Sheppard I am finding isn't very explicit at all. Maybe I am not looking in the right places? I am still learning my way around this fandom.

If you know of any fics with explicit Bottom Sheppard in it, I'd be grateful. The more graphic, the better, so long as it's well written. If you also know of any fics with S&M or bloodplay (still Bottom Sheppard), even better. I may even squeak a bit. Hardcore S&M is preferable. (Yeeeeaaah... sorry... I'm a perv. :D)

And um *shuffles feet* if Sheppard is batshit insane, that's a HUGE bonus. Read batty McKay, read it where they're both batty, but not nutjob John... which I'd love to see.
